What started as a single, hollowed, spherical vessel, one of those skill building (spheres, hollowing), "tweener" projects. Good for keeping me in the studio at the lathe, thinking creatively whist I await the arrival of the ever-transient muse and her bag of goodies. One leads to two, two leads to three and the next thing I know a triptych emerges. Anyway the little troublemakers kept rolling around on the bench and I was afraid they'd eventually hit the floor so I fashioned three individual, free range perches with a bit of textural connection to the vessels. In certain poses they reminded me of robin triplets awaiting the feathered doordash. The largest vessel is 3-1/2" in diameter. Thank you for looking!
