They recently removed a pear orchard near our home. Pears may have become irrelevant as a crop but they have been good neighbors for many years. Before the trees were chipped I grabbed a couple of trunks. The twisty, crack prone wood is not my favorite but it can be pretty. This natural edge bowl with Pewa repairs is a result. Tinted lacquers provide a color fade. Thank you for looking!
